Deep Democracy in Berlin
The next level in inclusive leadership & mediation
Have you heard of Deep Democracy?
We turn conflict into a resource instead of a problem
The Lewis Method of Deep Democracy is a practical approach to conflict resolution, facilitation and inclusive decision-making. It helps individuals, teams and organizations work with tension, navigate complex issues and make space for perspectives that might otherwise remain unheard.
Used in more than 20 countries worldwide, Deep Democracy gives leaders, facilitators and teams practical tools to engage with conflict, strengthen relationships and make better decisions together.
The method was recognized by the United Nations as one of 80 leading African innovations.
In Germany, Deep Democracy is still relatively unknown. We’re here to change that.
Discover the method in one of our Level 1 & 2 Foundation Workshops or become a certified facilitator through our Full Facilitator Programme (Level 1–4).
Listen in
We interviewed people about their experience with Deep Democracy during one of our workshops. Listen in, or experience it yourself!
“We build resilient teams that face conflict openly, navigate complexity together, and turn differences into better decisions.
With Deep Democracy, conflict becomes a resource for stronger collaboration.”

My dream is to enable people in Germany to have better conflicts with each other. Straight talk, real honesty sometimes feels like a forgotten skill. I do not wish to just help people be polite to each other but to really improve relationships so we can look each other in the eye again as respecting and empathetic equals.
